The Suntrup Organization dates back to 1957
When Bill Suntrup (current owner's Butch and Craig Suntrup's uncle) started in the organization, Dwight D. Eisenhower was president, the Civil Rights Movement was in full swing, and the Ford motor company introduced the Edsel.
Suntrup was called Southland Imports, and still is today to the older crowd and consisted of a Datsun dealership, now known as Suntrup Nissan.
Don Suntrup (Butch and Craig's father) joined the organization next and since, the family involvement in the industry blossomed.
Bill's children Jean, Chris, and Tom are partners in Suntrup Ford Westport. Chris, along with Tom, are partners in Suntrup West County Volvo and Tom is the President of Suntrup Ford Kirkwood and Suntrup Buick GMC in St Peters.
Butch and Craig, Don Suntrup's children, are partners in Suntrup Nissan, Suntrup Volkswagen, BMW of West St. Louis, Suntrup Kia and Suntrup Hyundai. According to Craig Suntrup, "All the Suntrup's started early in the business, beginning at about age 12, and working at 'grunt jobs' at the dealerships--washing cars, cleaning parts, and painting the walls."
This website is dedicated to the stores that are owned by brothers Butch and Craig Suntrup and the available positions for the Nissan, Volkswagen, BMW, Hyundai and Kia franchises.
